Examination numbers are issued after registration completion. Candidates numbers are available via the registration portal (OZEMS » Candidates » Candidate forms). If you do not see them, please contact ZEC.

Opening dates are published on this website and in official circulars. Check the Home page's calendar events or recent announcements for the current cycle's start date.

Closing dates are published alongside opening dates. Late registration may be permitted only with valid justification and may attract penalties. Contact ZEC immediately if you miss the deadline.

Typical steps: log into the OZEMS portal with your school account; go to the Record Scores menu » click on Export|Import Template » Select Module to filter by subject » click Import to upload the template or Export to download the template.

Check file format, size, file name (must be unchanged). Try another browser. If errors persist, capture screenshots and the file, then contact technical support with the error details.

Typical specs: plain light or blue background; specified dimensions (usually 132px by 150px or as published); clear and recent photo; neutral expression; no hats or sunglasses; JPG/PNG format; file size within the maximum limit.

Use the exact index number as printed on the candidate's original index or certificate (copy it verbatim, including separators) such as S1234/1234/5678 or P1234/1234/5678. For more than one resits, use a verticle bar or pipe (|) between numbers (e.g., S1234/1234/5678|P1234/1234/5678|S1234/1234/5678).

Click "Forgot password" on the login page, enter the registered username, and use the password-reset code sent to your email or phone or both. If you do not receive the code, check your email spam folder or try again. Contact support if the automated reset fails.

Contact the ZEC helpdesk with your username. Provide any requested details for account recovery as per the policy.

Download and save the neccessary files, spot-check uploaded records in the portal for a sample of candidates, and inform school administration. Keep a local copy of the uploaded files (such as the registration and CA templates).
